Ms VAGHELA (Western Metropolitan): I had the pleasure of attending the Nepalese multicultural soccer tournament 2020 organised by the Nepalese Association of Victoria and Royal Westerns Club. I was joined by Daniel Mulino, federal MP, deputy mayor and councillor Kim Truong and the leaders of the Nepalese community in Keilor. Sport brings people together regardless of their backgrounds and creates the spirit of game and friendship in everyone. Soccer in Nepal has been a national sport since as early as 1921. The work done by the volunteer Nepalese organisations to support various cultural and sports events for their community is commendable.
